This is the optimized path for completing the silver run.
The silver mine.
The silver processor.
The silver trader.

Introduction

One of the many legal runs that you can do on the island of Altis is silver mining. Silver is an ore found in the ground. can be processed into and sold as ingots and is one of the first recommended runs for newer players as its payout is viable enough for small to medium scale operations that can be increased with the use of a Worker's Protection License.

Starting the Run

Before you begin, it is a good idea to check the market value of silver using the market tab on your “Y” menu to make sure nobody has sold silver recently to maximize your profits. It is also recommended to stop by the DMV and purchase a “silver processing license” as it is a prerequisite for processing the ore into ingots for sale. It is also necessary to take a pickaxe, which can be purchased at any market or gas station, as well as 3 items of food and water to sustain yourself for the duration of the run. You will want to begin this venture by retrieving your vehicle of choice from the truck shop southeast of Athira. From there it will be a short drive out to the silver mine, which is located a short drive east of Athira where you will gather silver ore. Upon arrival, you will position yourself close to the silver mine icon on the map as within its proximity is the harvesting zone where you will be able to use your windows key to harvest the ore. The mine itself is nestled by a small hill and has abandoned construction equipment littered around that will make for good cover in a tight spot. The drive to the processor, directly north of the mine, will also be a quick drive as most of the terrain is flat, open fields allowing for quick travel on or off the roadways.

Processing

The Silver Processor will be found in a manufacturing building adjacent to a church with the processor itself in a small room with one entryway. This is one of the most defensible processors in Altis with the nearby buildings, forest, and stone walls that allow for quick cover if happened upon by Rebels. You will still need to keep an ear out for any approaching aerial or ground vehicles but you will be well protected while processing. There is a bonus for processing that will incrementally give you faster progress as you process more silver if you possess a Worker's Protection License which will make processing a lot quicker. You may also choose to process an entire vehicle full of raw materials into processed items. Players can select to process from a selected vehicle but multiple players may not process from the same vehicle. The time taken to process the inventory of the vehicle will be displayed and canceling processing will process all items up until the point of cancellation. Buffs gained from processing will also apply to the rate at which the vehicle is processed as well.

Selling

Once you are done processing you will travel to the east to the silver trader. The route defined in the picture below will be the safest as you will need to maintain a safe distance from the Athira Rebel Outpost as anybody you would encounter there would be more than happy to lift your hard-earned goods from the burning wreckage of your vehicle. Once you arrive at the trader who has decided to set up shop in a small strip of buildings on the south side of Arthira, you will be hardly vulnerable as there are stone walls and other buildings to fortify if need be. Fortunately, there is an ATM a stone’s throw away next to the center of town where you will be able to immediately deposit your cash.

Payout

Using a box truck with no storage upgrades and a Bergen backpack (210 silver Ingots) will yield a payout of $427,823 (WPL: $491,997)

Run Time

Using a tier 4 box truck with no storage upgrades, bergen backpack, and Tier-4 turbo this run will take 27 minutes with no real difference with any alternate routes posted in the screenshots. With a processing bonus, the run will take 22-25 minutes.
